AbacoSail is run by a very experienced local management team and crew — people who have spent their working lives in charter and now look after one fleet, on one dock, in the waters they know best. Wholly locally owned and operated at the dock in Marsh Harbour — Bahamian through and through, every week of the year.

The team

Years in the industry, focused on one sea

Our management team has spent their working lives in charter — captaining boats, running fleets, briefing guests, across the Bahamas, the BVIs and the Med. The kind of careers where you learn what makes a good week, and what makes one fall apart, two or three hundred times over.

AbacoSail is the operation that experience built: a focused fleet of catamarans, based in one place the team knows by heart, looked after by local crew chosen one at a time, and sailed by guests we get to greet on the dock.

The right boats — new and well-built, every one. The right staff — local, long-tenured, here because they want to be. And the right customers — people who care about being looked after well, by people who actually know them by name come Tuesday.

Marsh Harbour is the base. The Sea of Abaco is the playground. The rest is just doing the job properly, every week, all season.

Local, long-tenured, hired one at a time. The captain who briefs you on Saturday is the captain you'll see at the dock when you return — and the same hands that maintained your boat to begin with. We're a small team on purpose.

Thirteen catamarans from three respected yards — Lagoon, Bali, and a Catspace — ranging from 42 to 50 feet. New builds and recent vintage only. Preventative maintenance, not reactive. Built for a long season of guests, not the brochure.
